Abstract:	Mit Hilfe von anschaulichen Gedankenmodellen wird gezeigt, daß Schrägseilbrücken mit kleinem Aufwand zuverlässig bemessen werden können. Die erzielte Genauigkeit genügt auf alle Fälle für Angebots- und Kontrollrechnungen. Die Überschlagsrechnung wird anhand der Brücke von Brotonne erläutert.
