Abstract:	Die Große Dhünn-Talsperre, die mit einem Stauvolumen von 81 Mio m3 den grössten oberirdischen Trinkwasserspeicher der BRD darstellt und die Trinkwasserversorgung im Bergischen Land in NRW sicherstellen soll, befindet sich im Jahr 1986 im Probe und Reinigungsstau. Es werden neben den Aufgaben der Talsperre und den Planungsgrundlagen insbesondere die Funktion und die Ausführung der einzelnen Bauwerke aus wasserbaulicher Sicht beschrieben.
