Abstract:

Railway bridges using steel-concrete composite structures. Railway bridges using steel-concrete composite cross-sections play a different role in the countries of Europe. The assessment of the economic efficiency during a life cycle differs considerably. The design of composite bridges reveals innovative approaches. By means of composite construction which is in use in France and in Germany in recent times, the range of application is figured out and the differences in construction become visible.
