| Title: | Application of the partial safety factor concept for the structural design of tunnels in Germany - Anwendung des Teilsicherheitskonzepts beim Standsicherheitsnachweis von Tunneln in Deutschland |
| Abstract: | The calculation and design of engineering structures in Germany has changed from a global safety factor concept to a partial safety factor concept introducing a number of partial safety factors. The report presents the current rules for transport tunnels and explains the new method of structural design and serviceability by means of a practical example. Die statische Berechnung und Bemessung von Ingenieurbauwerken in Deutschland ist in den letzten Jahren von einem Globalsicherheitskonzept mit einem einzigen Sicherheitsbeiwert auf ein Teilsicherheitskonzept mit zahlreichen Teilsicherheitsbeiwerten umgestellt worden. Der Bericht stellt die maßgebenden Regelwerke für Verkehrstunnel vor und erläutert die neuen Tragfähigkeits- und Gebrauchstauglichkeitsnachweise an einem praxisnahen Beispiel. |
