Abstract:	Die Dauerschwingfestigkeit der im Bauwesen eingesetzten Seile, deren ertragbare Schwingbreite z.Z. ca. 150 bis 250 N/mm2 beträgt, kann durch Ausschluss von Schwingungs- und insbesondere von Reibungskorrosion auf die des verwendeten Drahtmaterials verbessert werden (ertragbare Schwingbreite ca. 250 bis 350 N/mm2). Beide Korrosionsarten können durch Weichmetallüberzüge verhindert werden. Derartig verbesserte Seile liesen sich bei Bauwerken mit grossen nichtruhenden Belastungen wirtschaftlich einsetzen.
