Abstract:

Energy Efficiency  -  The balance between production and consumption.
The recast of the European building directive will change the way of designing and evaluating buildings in Europe. In Future the building envelope, technical building systems and energy carriers should be harmonized resulting in low Primary energy demand and Greenhousegas emissions. New house concepts of the brick industry like the e4 house or solar house fulfil these requirements already today in an affordable way.
