Abstract:	Im Auftrag der Skulpturensammlung Dresden war die Kippsicherheit schlanker Postamente von Kleinplastiken nachzuweisen. Die theoretischen Betrachtungen wurden durch Pendelstoß-Versuche überprüft und mit diesen Ergebnissen abgeglichen. Im Ergebnis liegt ein Bemessungsansatz für die Ballastierung von schlanken Postamenten vor, der deren ausreichende Kippsicherheit infolge versehentlichen Anrempelns oder Stolperns durch Museumsbesucher gewährleistet. Tilting resistance of slender pedestals of sculptures. On behalf of the Skulpturensammlung Dresden the tilting resistance of slender pedestals of small sculptures had to be verified. The theoretical considerations have been proved by pendulum impact tests and compared with those results. The result is a design approach for the ballasting of slender pedestals, that ensures sufficient stability due to accidental stumbling by museum visitors.
