Abstract:	Bericht über eine Zementumschlagsanlage unmittelbar am Arabischen Golf mit 3 Zementsilos von 46 m Höhe und den für den Betrieb erforderlichen technischen Anlagen und Betriebsgebäuden. Als wirtschaftlichste Gründung in den sehr unterschiedlich gelagerten Sanden erwies sich eine Flachgründung, bei der jedoch mit Setzungen von bis zu 15 cm gerechnet werden muss. Dies führte zu umfangreichen Überlegungen und Untersuchungen, damit diese Setzungen und Setzungsunterschiede den reibungslosen Betrieb der Anlage nicht gefährden können.
