Abstract:	Ausgehend von einfachen Anwendungsbeispielen in der Mechanik wird gezeigt, daß die konsequente Anwendung eines allgemein gültigen Energieumwandlungsgesetzes zu einer geschlossenen Systematik führt, wie sie bisher nicht in der Physik erkannt worden ist. Als dieses Energieumwandlungsgesetz ist in der Mechanik das erweiterte Hamiltonsche Prinzip anzusehen.
