Abstract:	Neue europäische luftfahrtrechtliche Bestimmungen sowie der Wunsch nach einer bedeutenden Verkürzung des Transportweges von Notfallpatienten in die Notaufnahme erforderten am Universitätsklinikum Aachen einen neuen Hubschrauberlandeplatz in exponierter Lage. Eine aufregende architektonische Gestaltung, schwierige Montagerandbedingungen, der Einsatz unterschiedlicher Materialien und Bauarten, wie Stahlbau, Verbundbau, Fertigteilbau, eine Fassade teils aus textiler Bespannung und teils aus aufwändiger Blechkonstruktion, sowie besondere technische Ausstattungen machten das Projekt zu einer interessanten Planungs- und Bauaufgabe. Helicopter base of Universitätsklinikum Aachen, Germany. New European aviation regulations and the request for a significant shortening of the transport route of emergency patients in the emergency department required a new helicopter base in a prominent location at the Universitätsklinikum Aachen. The very interesting design and construction tasks are due to an exciting architectural design, difficult assembly conditions, the use of different materials and types of construction such as steel, composite and precast construction, a façade partly from textile fibre and partly out of complex metal sheets as well as special technical facilities.
