Title:	Bauen mit Buddha - Ein Erfahrungsbericht aus Indien
Abstract:	Für die Austragung der Commonwealth Games 2012 in Neu Delhi, Indien, wurden im Zeitraum zwischen 2006 und 2010 mehrere neue Sportstätten von schlaich bergermann und partner geplant. Eine Grenzerfahrung der besonderen Art des Bauens im Ausland wird anhand der Entstehungsgeschichte des Dachs über das bestehende Jawaharlal Nehru Stadion erläutert. Neben dem Mut der Regierung, sich an ein technisch sehr anspruchsvolles Projekt internationalen Standards zu wagen, erforderte das Projekt enormen Einsatz und Erfindergeist der beteiligten Teams und endete glücklich mit einem besonderen Bauwerk in einem wahrlich einzigartigen Land - Incredible India. Based on the experience during the construction period of the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium the following article tells the story of a special borderline experience of working abroad. Besides the courage of the authorities to decide for a complex project of international standard, the work required intensive and devotional commitment and inventive talent by all involved parties and ended luckily with a beautiful venue within a truly unique and incredible India.
