Abstract:	Die Waldschlößchenbrücke in Dresden ist die lang gedachte, nun erbaute neue Elbquerung, über deren Notwendigkeit schon unsere Vorväter diskutierten - die Diskussionen brechen bis heute nicht ab. Sie sind politischer, ästhetischer, wirtschaftlicher und technischer Art. Die Brücke ist ein markantes Zeichen deutscher Ingenieurkunst. Sie ist geometrisch anspruchsvoll und daher in ihrer Konstruktion sehr detailreich. In ihrer Herstellung und Montage war sie ein mutiges Unterfangen. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird über die technische Bearbeitung und Ausführung des Stahlverbundüberbaus sowie der stählernen Stützen berichtet. The Waldschlößchen Bridge in Dresden is the long imagined, now built, crossing of the river Elbe, the necessity of which was already discussed by our forefathers. The discussion continues to this day. They were and are of political, aesthetical, economical and technical character. The new bridge is a remarkable example of German engineering. It is geometrically challenging, hence very detailed in the construction, which made the manufacture and installation a bold undertaking. This paper will cover the technical process and execution of both the composite steel superstructure, and the steel supports.
