Abstract:	Vorliegende Empfehlung EASV beschreibt die Anforderungen, die an Sachverständige für Geotechnik nach DIN 4020:2010-12 hinsichtlich Sachkunde und beruflicher Erfahrung zu stellen sind. Sie schließt damit eine Lücke, da bislang die im Sinne der DIN EN 1997, DIN 1054 und DIN 4020 tätigen Personen ohne Nachweis ihrer Sachkunde und beruflichen Erfahrung Geotechnische Berichte erstellen und entsprechende Fachplanungen ausführen können. Zielsetzung dieser Empfehlung ist es, Kriterien für die Sachkunde und berufliche Erfahrung eines Sachverständigen für Geotechnik entsprechend dem Stand von Wissenschaft und Technik zu definieren sowie potentielle Sachverständige für Geotechnik in die Lage zu versetzen, sich in ihrer fachlichen Kompetenz selbst zu bewerten und diese Kompetenz gegenüber anderen am Bau beteiligten Personen und Institutionen nachzuweisen. Die übergeordnete Zielsetzung dieser Empfehlung ist damit die Erhöhung der Sicherheit im Erd-, Grund- und Felsbau. Die Anforderungen beziehen sich auf einzelne Personen und berücksichtigen die unterschiedlichen Studienbedingungen der Bauingenieure, Geotechniker und Ingenieurgeologen. Bei der Erstellung geotechnischer Berichte entsprechend DIN EN 1997-2:2010-10 und DIN 4020:2010-12 kommt es häufig zu einer interdisziplinären Zusammenarbeit. In diesem Fall ist projektspezifisch eine Person als verantwortlich zu benennen, die als Sachverständiger im Sinne dieser Empfehlung qualifiziert sein muss. Das “Beiblatt” der Empfehlung EASV gibt Zusatzinformationen, die insbesondere für private und öffentliche Auftraggeber gedacht sind. Diese sind als Grundeigentümer zur rechtzeitigen Einholung qualifizierter Geotechnischer Berichte verpflichtet. This EASV recommendation describes requirements which are demanded of an expert for geotechnical engineering (Sachverständiger für Geotechnik) in regard to expertise and professional experience according to DIN 4020:2010-12. It fills a gap, since persons working in compliance with DIN EN 1997, DIN 1054 and DIN 4020 may currently write ground investigation reports and perform geotechnical design projects without any formal verification of their expertise and professional experience. The purpose of this recommendation is to define criteria of the expertise and professional experience of a geotechnical expert in accordance with the current state of science and technology, as well as enable potential experts for geotechnical engineering to assess their professional competence themselves. Furthermore this competence needs to be proven to other individuals and institutions involved in the construction process. The primary objective of this recommendation is to improve safety for earthworks, geotechnical engineering and rock engineering. The requirements are relevant for individuals and take into consideration varying training programs for civil engineers, geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists. Interdisciplinary cooperation is often employed when writing ground investigation reports according to DIN EN 1997-2:2010-10 and DIN 4020:2010-12. In this case a designated person is held responsible for the specific project and has to be a qualified expert in compliance with this recommendation. The “supplement” of the EASV recommendation provides additional information, which is especially intended for private and public customers. As landowners, they are obliged to obtain qualified geotechnical reports in time.
