Abstract:	Wandelbare Dächer bieten die Möglichkeit, Veranstaltungsstätten unter freiem Himmel zuverlässiger zu nutzen. Aufgrund der besonderen Anforderungen an diese Bauwerke ist die Planung ein komplexer Vorgang. Im großen Umfang sind Aspekte des Maschinenbaus in eine bauliche Struktur zu integrieren. Der funktionale Charakter darf dabei nicht darüber hinwegtäuschen, dass die Bauwerke durch ihre Gestaltung einen großen Einfluss auf ihre direkte Umgebung nehmen. Der Bericht stellt zwei kürzlich realisierte Projekte vor, die das Ergebnis einer gleichwertigen Beachtung architektonischer und funktionaler Aspekte darstellt. Planning process is complex due to the special requirements on the construction. In a large scale aspects of mechanical engineering have to be integrated in a building structure. Functionality is not allowed to hide the fact that the design of the building has a wide influence on its next environs. This paper presents two recently finished projects which were designed under equal consideration of architecture and functionality.
