Abstract:	Eine begehbare gläserne Brückenkonstruktion ist der weltweit erste Prototyp für Brückenbauwerke aus kaltgebogenem Glas. Der kaltverformte transparente Werkstoff, ein komplexes räumliches und steifigkeitsabhängiges Tragverhalten sowie ein umfassender Einsatz von Klebeverbindungen sind die besonderen Kennzeichen der seele Glasbrücke. Das spektakuläre transparente Experiment ist das Ergebnis einer Kooperation zwischen seele GmbH, dem IBK Forschung und Entwicklung der Universität Stuttgart und Engelsmann Peters Beratende Ingenieure GmbH. Der Beitrag beschreibt das Entwurfskonzept und die Tragwerksplanung sowie Fertigung und Montage der gläsernen Brücke. seele glassbridge: a glass bridge structure made from cold bentglass An accessible glass bridge is the world-wide first prototype for bridge structures made from cold bent glass. The cold bent material, an ambitious structural concept and the comprehensive use of bonded joints are the particular characteristics of this glass bridge. The spectacular transparent experiment is the result of a cooperation between seele GmbH, IBK Forschung und Entwicklung of Stuttgart University and Engelsmann Peters Beratende Ingenieure GmbH. This article describes the structural design concept and the structural design process as well as the fabrication of the glass bridge.
