Abstract:	Der 1902 in zentraler Lage Frankfurts als Palasthotel gebaute "Fürstenhof" entstand in den letzten Jahren neu als modernes Bürogebäude. Die denkmalgeschützten Bauteile der Fassade, des Haupttreppenhauses und des Vestibüls wurden in ursprünglicher Lage erhalten, zum Teil in ihrer Substanz saniert und in einen hochmodernen Neubau mit 4 "untergeschobenen" Untergeschossen integriert. Die Erhaltung der bis zu 30 m hohen und rd. 90 m langen alten Sandsteinfassade in Kombination mit einer tiefen Baugrube und einer innerstädtischen Großbaustelle war das Hauptproblem dieser außergewöhnlichen Bauaufgabe.
