Abstract:	Der Fokus des Beitrags richtet sich auf das Phänomen der fleckigen Dunkelverfärbungen, welche im späten Alter, d. h. Monate bis Jahre nach der Herstellung der Sichtbetonbauteile, auftreten und deren Ausmaß ohne weitere Maßnahmen zeitabhängig zunimmt. Anhand eines Praxisbeispiels wird das Phänomen beschrieben und die für die Entstehung der fleckigen Dunkelverfärbungen im späten Alter ursächlichen Mechanismen aufgezeigt. Abschließend werden baupraktische Empfehlungen zur Vermeidung der Dunkelverfärbungen im späten Alter formuliert. Formation of mottled dark discoloration on fairfaced concrete surfaces occuring in the late age - Description of the causal mechanisms based on a practical example The article is focused on the phenomenon of mottled dark discoloration, which occur in the late age, i.e. months to years after the production of fairfaced concrete elements. Without countermeasure the extent of the discoloration increases time-dependent. Based on a practical example the phenomenon is described and the main mechanisms that lead to the mottled dark discoloration are shown. Finally, appropriate recommendations for preventing mottled dark discoloration in the late age are made for building practice.
