Title:	Entwicklung der Berechnungsmodelle des Bauingenieurs: Woher? Wohin.
Abstract:	Ausgehend von den Ursprüngen der klassischen Berechnungsmodelle für Balken, Platten, Schalen wird die geschichtliche Entwicklung auf dem Gebiet der Strukturmodelle dargelegt. Der Überblick zeigt, wie schwer es der Mensch bei den fundamentalen Anfängen hatte, mit welcher Beschleunigung dagegen die Entwicklung bis zum derzeitigen Stand lief. Mit der Verfügbarkeit der numerischen Verfahren sind große Vielfalt, Komplexität, Verfeinerung und Leistungsfähigkeit der Berechnungs- und Nachweismodelle erreicht worden. Da müssen wir uns auch kritisch fragen, wohin die zukünftige Entwicklung tendiert. Vielleicht sollten wir u.a. auch mehr an der Reduktion auf einfachere, ganzheitlich in sich konsistentere Entwurfsmodelle arbeiten.
