Abstract:	Es wird über eine Reihe von Grossversuchen an Einzel- und Streifenfundamenten berichtet, die bis zum Versagen des Baugrunds durch Grundbruch belastet wurden. Anhand der Messergebnisse wird eine allgemeine Beschreibung des Baugrundverhaltens im Bruchzustand durch Gleitschollenbildung gegeben. Die Versuche wurden an sowohl zentrisch als auch exzentrisch belasteten Fundamenten als auch bei unterschiedlichen Bodenverhältnissen von Sandböden bis bindigem Baugrund durchgeführt.
