Abstract:	Die Berücksichtigung des Lastfalls Temperaturerhöhung kann bei Baugrubensteifen zu einer erheblichen Vergrößerung des Querschnitts führen, wenn die positive Auswirkung der Steifenverformung auf die Zwangskräfte unberücksichtigt bleibt. Im Aufsatz wird gezeigt, daß für eine Vielzahl von Fällen eine Neubemessung nicht erforderlich ist. Es wird aber auch gezeigt, in welchen Fällen eine Erhöhung der Temperatur hinsichtlich der Tragfähigkeit bedenklich werden kann. Die Untersuchung beschränkt sich auf die für Steifen gängigen Walzprofile des Typs HEB, kann aber sinngemäß auf andere I-Profile übertragen werden.
