Title:	Zum Versagen einer verankerten Spundwand am Houston Ship Channel.
Abstract:	1975 hat ein 240 m langes und 18,3 m hohes Bohlwerk am Schiffahrtskanal in Houston, Texas, versagt. Die seinerzeitigen Untersuchungen führten die Ursache auf die Verwendung unzutreffender Bodenkennwerte (nicht entwässerte an Stelle von entwässerten Scherfestigkeiten) zurück. Es wird gezeigt, daß das Versagen auch mit den Rechenwerten der DIN 1055, Teil 2, begründet werden kann. Im Hinblick auf die beabsichtigte Einführung von Teilsicherheitsbeiwerten für Grundbauberechnungen ist die vorliegende Nachrechnung eines Schadenfalls von erheblicher praktischer Bedeutung.
