Abstract:	Die deutsche “Architektur-Ikone des 20. Jahrhunderts” GOTTFRIED BÖHM hat in den 1960er Jahren die Wallfahrtskirche “Maria, Königin des Friedens” entworfen. Die Form der Kirche gleicht einem großen Faltwerk. Aufgrund der komplizierten und monolithischen Gestalt waren genaue statische Berechnungen unmöglich. Im Laufe der Jahre sind wasserführende Risse aufgetreten. Eine Verpressung mit Mörtel ist wegen der auftretenden Rissbewegungen nicht sinnvoll. Aus diesem Grund wurde ein Instandsetzungskonzept mit carbonbewehrtem Spritzmörtel entwickelt. Der gute Verbund der Textilien zum Mörtel sorgt für eine feine Rissverteilung. Somit wird der breite Riss in viele feine aufgeteilt. Die neue Rissbreite ist danach so fein, dass ein Selbstheilungsprozess stattfinden kann. Dieses Konzept wurde erfolgreich für den ersten Instandsetzungsabschnitt der Sakramentskapelle des Mariendomdaches eingesetzt. The form of the church is a folded plate. Because of the complicated and monolithic shape no exact structural analysis were possible. Consequently concrete cracks appeared, which are water-bearing and cannot be inject with mortar, because of a steady movement. So, a new restoration concept with carbon reinforced shotcrete was founded. The good bond-behavior between the textile reinforcement and the shotcrete leads to a fine distribution of the cracks. That means that one big crack can be spread into many small cracks. The width is so small, that a self-healing process can take place. This concept was used for the first restoration part of the Sakramentskapelle of the roof of the Mariendom.
