Abstract:	Weltweit ist ein zunehmender Trend nach immer höher be anspruchten und größer dimensionierten Bauwerken zu beobachten. Des Weiteren werden zunehmend Hochleistungswerkstoffe, wie ultrahochfeste Betone oder hochfeste Stähle, eingesetzt. Um dieser Entwicklung hinsichtlich Forschung und Prüfung von Bauteilen (Stützen, Seilen etc.) mit großen, (nahezu) realmaßstäblichen Abmessungen und den damit verbundenen sehr großen Prüfkräften zu begegnen, wurde vom iBMB, Fachgebiet Massivbau der TU Braunschweig und der Materialprüfanstalt für das Bauwesen Braunschweig (MPA) eine 30-MN-Prüfmaschine für quasistatische und zyklische Druck- und Zugprüfungen geplant, konstruiert und schließlich errichtet. In diesem Beitrag werden die 30-MN-Prüfmaschine mit ihren Kennzahlen und ihr Funktionsprinzip sowie ihr erfolgreicher Einsatz in mehreren Forschungs-, Prüf- und Kalibrierungsaufgaben dargestellt. 30-MN-testing machine for quasi-static and cyclic compression and tension tests Worldwide there is an increasing trend towards ever higher stressed and larger dimensioned structures. Furthermore, high-performance materials such as ultra-high performance concretes or high-strength steels are increasingly being used. In order to comply with this development regarding research and testing of components (columns, cables etc.) with large (almost) real-scale dimensions and the associated very large testing loads, the iBMB, Division of Concrete Construction of the TU Braunschweig and the Civil Engineering Materials Testing Institute Braunschweig (MPA) designed, constructed and finally realized a 30-MN-testing machine for quasi-static and cyclic compression and tension tests. This article describes the 30-MN-testing machine with its key figures and functional principle as well as its successful use in several research, testing and calibration tasks.
