Title: | Wirtschaftliche Perspektiven von Beton-3D-Druckverfahren |
Cost Calculation of Concrete 3D Printing Additive manufacturing processes, commonly referred as 3D printing processes, were initially developed for the stationary industry and are characterized by the highest level of automation. They are part of the strategy Industrie 4.0 and represent a great opportunity for improvements of efficiency, especially for the construction industry. This article demonstrates that concrete 3D printing processes, and in particular the CONPrint3D® technology, have advantages compared to conventional wall constructions and proven potential for cost and time savings. Within the framework of the CONPrint3D® research, concrete performance values were determined and compared in cost-effectiveness analysis to the wall construction systems of lime sandstone, brick masonry and reinforced concrete. The study shows maximum equipment costs for the printing process dependent on square meter of wall surface and per time at which CONPrint3D® is economical. It can be assumed with great certainty that concrete 3D printers can be realized within the cost budget of equipment. |
