Title:	Das Parkhaus der Zukunft als vernetzter "Urban Hub"
Abstract:	Der ruhende Verkehr ist einer der größten Flächenfresser in deutschen Großstädten. Vor dem Hintergrund der Mobilitätswende sind Kommunen und Parkraumbetreiber gefordert, kreative und innovative Strategien zur effizienteren Nutzung von Parkflächen zu entwickeln. Ein besonderes Augenmerk wird dabei auf Parkhäusern liegen, die perspektivisch weitaus mehr Funktionen erfüllen werden als einzig und allein die Bereitstellung von Flächen zum Abstellen von Kraftfahrzeugen. Das Parkhaus der Zukunft vereint unterschiedliche Mobilitäts- und Zusatzdienste und fungiert somit als vernetzter “Urban Hub”. Dadurch wird es zum zentralen Element stadträumlicher Entwicklung und zur Drehscheibe für innovative und intermodale Mobilität. Der nachfolgende Beitrag zeigt auf, welche gegenwärtigen Trends die Mobilität in Städten und Gemeinden beeinflussen und inwieweit neue (Service-)Ökosysteme das Parken und die Rolle von Kommunen und Parkraumbetreibern im Zuge der zunehmenden Plattformökonomie perspektivisch verändern werden. Darüber hinaus wird ein Einblick in das Konzept Apcoa Urban Hubs der Apcoa Parking gegeben, welche der größte Parkraumbewirtschafter Europas ist. Car parks of the future as a networked “urban hub” Stationary traffic takes up a lot of space in German cities. In the course of the mobility turnaround, municipalities and car park operators are required to develop creative and innovative strategies for the more efficient use of parking lots. Particular attention will be paid to car parks, which will fulfil far more functions than just providing a parking space for vehicles. The future car park will combine different mobility and value-added services, thus acting as a networked “urban hub”. In this way, it will be considered as a central element of urban development and a transition point for innovative and intermodal mobility. The following article shows which current trends are influencing mobility in cities and to which extent new (service) ecosystems will change parking and the role of municipalities and parking operators in the course of an increasing platform economy. In addition, an insight into the Apcoa Urban Hubs concept of Apcoa Parking is provided, which is Europe's largest parking operator.
