Dies gelingt in qualitätsgesicherter, automatisierter Vorfertigung. Production tolerances of precast concrete components for modular construction Precast concrete components must comply with tolerances to be able to assemble them and to ensure sufficient load-bearing capacity and serviceability. Otherwise, rework is necessary, which delays the construction process. Conventional compensation of tolerance is achieved by means of press joints, which can transmit the necessary forces. Modular construction methods aim at rapid assembly. Thus, quick connectors such as screws or dry joints are preferred. The finer module segmentation also results in far more connections, so that inaccuracies are superimposed. Thus the need for geometric accuracy is increasing rapidly. The article compiles the production tolerances for automated fabrication of modules in series and compares them with the state of the art. For certain module types, deviations are tracked by means of error propagation and superimposed for individual construction sections or entire structures. By comparison, it turns out that automated production is necessary and handcrafting is out of the question. Line-like modular structures achieve deviations of less than 1 mm up to about 30 m of length with a common reliability level of 2&sgr;. For deep beam-type structures, hole clearances of less than 0.5 mm result, for higher reliability levels of 4&sgr;. This is achieved in quality-assured, automated prefabrication. |
