Abstract:	Die Erhaltung der Verkehrsinfrastruktur in Deutschland ist häufig durch ein reaktives Vorgehen geprägt. Im Rahmen von Experteninterviews mit Vertretern der Verkehrsträger Schiene, Straße und Wasserstraße wurde über das aktuelle Vorgehen in Bezug auf die Erhaltung der Verkehrsinfrastrukturbauwerke sowie Herausforderungen gesprochen. Dabei stand die Einbettung der Erhaltungsstrategie in ein Lebenszyklusmanagement im Fokus. Das Prozess-, Betriebs- und Deutungswissen der Experten half dabei, umfassende Informationen zusammenzutragen. Im Ergebnis konnte die Verknüpfung sowohl zwischen Forschung und Praxis als auch zwischen den einzelnen Verkehrsträgern intensiviert und die Grundlagen zur Einführung eines Lebenszyklusmanagements zusammengetragen werden. Challenges for life cycle management for transport infrastructure structures The maintenance of transport infrastructure in Germany is often characterised by a reactive approach. In the course of expert interviews with representatives of different transport modes, the current procedure, inhibitions and the introduction of life cycle management were discussed. The experts' process, operational and interpretive knowledge helped to gather comprehensive information on the questions posed. As a result, the link between research, practice and the individual transport modes could be intensified. The existing bases for the introduction of life cycle management were compiled.
