Abstract:	Außer Hüllrohren aus Bandstahl werden auch Kunststoffhüllrohre für die Vorspannung mit nachträglichem Verbund verwendet. Nach einem Überblick zum Stand der Normung bzw. der Zulassung für beide Hüllrohrtypen wird zunächst die Frage ihrer Dichtheit bei der Bauausführung und während der Bauwerksnutzung behandelt. Die sich ergebenden Auswirkungen für die Qualität der Vorspannungen werden ausführlich erläutert.Es wird ein neuentwickeltes Prüfverfahren für Kleinmodelle vorgestellt, mit dem sich die Rißempfindlichkeit von Hüllrohren als "Wöhlerlinien" aus Lastspielzahlen beim Reißen des Hüllrohrs und den Rißamplituden des umhüllenden Probebetons angeben lassen.
