Title:	Der Windward Viadukt auf Oahu, Hawaii.
Abstract:	Es wird über die Herstellung einer 2,0 km langen Spannbetonbrücke mit zwei voneinander getrennten Richtungsfahrbahnen in Segmentbauweise auf der Insel Oahu, Hawaii, berichtet. Baubeginn war Anfang 1990. Als Bauzeit standen höchstens 1360 Tage zur Verfügung; dies war auch der Grund für die gewählte Spezialbauart. Für die Montage der Stahlbetonfertigteile wurde ein 110 m langer besonderer Verlegeträger ("launching truss") verwendet, der es ermöglichte, die Segmente parallel an beiden Richtungsfahrbahnen zu montieren. Dies trug wesentlich dazu bei, daß das Projekt im Mai 1993 - sechs Monate vor dem ursprünglich vorgesehenen Termin - übergeben werden konnte.
