Abstract:	Die Neckarkanalbrücke in Heilbronn, eine Spannbetonkonstruktion aus dem Jahr 1950, mußte wegen verminderter Tragfähigkeit in der zulässigen Belastung stark eingeschränkt werden. Neben einer grundlegenden Sanierung wäre wegen des Ausbaus der Neckartalstraße zusätzlich eine Verlängerung erforderlich gewesen. Die Stadt Heilbronn entschloß sich daher zu einem Ersatzneubau. Dieser wurde als Spannbetonkonstruktion ausgeschrieben. Zur Ausführung kam jedoch ein Sondervorschlag in Verbundbauweise.
