Abstract:	Für biegedrillknickgefährdete Träger wird der Tragsicherheitsnachweis in der Regel mit dem kappaM-Verfahren der DIN 18800 Teil 2 geführt. In diesem Beitrag wird ein alternativer Nachweis vorgestellt, der häufig eine wirtschaftlichere Bemessung ermöglicht. Der Nachweis ist für die Handrechnung geeignet, kann aber auch, falls entsprechende EDV-Programme vorliegen, mit computerorientierten Berechnungen geführt werden. Dabei kann die Kenntnis der hier dargelegten grundsätzlichen Zusammenhänge hilfreich sein.
