Abstract:	Die Strombrücke über die Elbe in Magdeburg, der Landeshauptstadt von Sachsen-Anhalt, wurde in mehreren Etappen einer Generalinstandsetzung unterzogen. Dabei wurden die Betonfertigteile der Gehbahn durch eine orthotrope Platte ersetzt. Für die Straßenbahn wurden die Rillenblockschienen neu verlegt in Ikosit, einem Produkt der Sika-Chemie. Die Flachblechstreifen des Bodenbleches wurden im Pfeilerbereich unter Verwendung von Klebstoff durch Winkelprofile verstärkt. An den Kreuzungspunkten zwischen Längsrippen und den Querträgern waren in den Kehlnähten Risse festgestellt worden. Die Ursache dieser Risse wurde an Hand eines charakteristischen Probestückes geklärt, welches aus der orthotropen Platte entnommen worden war.
