Abstract:	Es wird eine Zusammenfassung wesentlicher Inhalte der Dissertation des Verfassers gegeben. Die Schwerpunkte liegen bei den Eigenschaften von Betonkies sowie einem erweiterten Konzept zum Nachweis der Gebrauchstauglichkeit von Betonkiesdichtungen, das u. a. die Berücksichtigung von Kriech- und Selbstheilungseigenschaften des Materials sowie der Dichtungsdicke gestattet. Das Nachweiskonzept kann auf beliebige mineralische Dichtungen übertragen werden.
