Abstract:	Druckbeanspruchte Bauteile aus hochfestem Beton versagen bei Überbeanspruchung schlagartig und ohne Vorankündigung. In Druckgliedern ist deshalb zur Sicherstellung einer ausreichenden Bauteilduktilität eine starke Querbewehrung anzuordnen. Dies stellt aber eine arbeits- und kostenintensive Maßnahme dar, so daß nach neuen Möglichkeiten gesucht wurde, die Werkstoffzähigkeit durch eine Modifizierung der Betonmischungszusammensetzung zu verbessern. Über Konzepte, die zur Zähigkeitssteigerung hochfester Betone geeignet sind, und Versuche wird im vorliegenden Beitrag berichtet.
