Abstract:	Neben den rein technischen Konsequenzen für den Entwurf hinsichtlich Bemessung und baulicher Durchbildung von Brücken für hohe Geschwindigkeiten ist die Frage interessant, ob der Ingenieur neuerdings gezwungen ist, das Entwerfen seiner Brücken besser zu beherrschen. Es wird die Notwendigkeit gezeigt, auf einfache und natürliche Formen zurückzugreifen. Die aktuellen Trends sind oft an Neuheiten orientiert, die zwar mit Hilfe der EDV umsetzbar sind, die Konstruktionen aber komplizieren.
