Title:	Erinnerung an Friedrich Engesser (1848-1931)
Abstract:	Am 12. Februar 1998 jährte sich der Geburtstag von Friedrich Engesser zum 150. Male. Engesser war einer der bedeutendsten Altmeister der Bautechnik und hat auf fast allen Gebieten des konstruktiven Ingenieurbaus in Forschung, Praxis und Lehre maßgebliche Entwicklungsarbeit geleistet. Zwischen 1879 und 1923 veröffentlichte er 165 Fachaufsätze in anerkannten deutschsprachigen Zeitschriften, seine Bücher über Fachwerkbrücken sowie seine Beiträge zur Technikphilosophie und zur Bauingenieurausbildung sind heute noch lesens- und beherzigenswerte Publikationen.
