Abstract:	Im Februar 1997 erschien der Entwurf DIN 1045-1, Tragwerke aus Beton, Stahlbeton und Spannbeton, Teil 1: Bemessung und Konstruktion. DIN 1045-1 ist die völlig überarbeitete Fassung der derzeit gültigen DIN 1045, Ausgabe 1988. Bei dem vorliegenden Entwurf handelt es sich um den deutschen Standpunkt zur europäischen Normung im Betonbau. Für den Fall, daß der Eurocode 2 (ENV 1992-1-1) nicht zum geplanten Zeitpunkt in eine europäische Norm überführt wird, steht mit DIN 1045-1 ein nationaler Norm-Entwurf zur Verfügung, der nach der Einspruchsfrist als neue deutsche Norm veröffentlicht werden soll. Der Beitrag beinhaltet den Vergleich zwischen EC 2 und DIN 1045-1 bezüglich der Nachweise im Grenzzustand der Tragfähigkeit für Biegung und Längskraft.
