Abstract:	Mit Hilfe der Übertragungsbeziehung wird das Tragverhalten eines Stabes oder Stababschnittes mit linear veränderlicher Höhe unter Berücksichtigung der M-, Q- und N-Verformungen beschrieben. Es wird gezeigt, daß das Moment M neben der Verkrümmung auch eine Schubverzerrung und die Querkraft Q neben der Schubverzerrung auch eine Verkrümmung des Stabelements hervorruft. Die praktische Anwendung wird anhand von zwei Beispielen erläutert. Außer der Übertragungsbeziehung, die Basis des Reduktionsverfahrens ist, werden auch die für das Kraftgrößen- und Verschiebungsgrößenverfahren sowie für das Prinzip der virtuellen Kräfte erforderlichen Stabformeln mitgeteilt.
