Abstract:	Es wird über Entwürfe und Forschungsvorhaben von Leonhardt auf dem Gebiet von Stahlbrücken mit orthotroper Platte, Hängebrücken und Verbundbrücken berichtet. Um die Leistungen von Leonhardt auf diesem Gebiet über mehr als ein halbes Jahrhundert hinweg aufzuzeigen, werden exemplarisch Brücken aus der Frühzeit (1940 bis 1950) - die Rheinbrücken Köln-Rodenkirchen und Köln-Deutz - und aus der späten Schaffensperiode (1985 bis 1995) - z. B. die Mainbrücke Nantenbach - sowie Forschungsarbeiten zu aerodynamisch günstigen Gesamttragwerken und Querschnitten von Hängebrücken und zur Bemessung von Verbundbrücken dargestellt.
