Abstract:	Es wird über die Erfahrungen beim Bau der Kapelle der Versöhnung in Berlin-Mitte berichtet, deren tragende und aussteifende Wände in Stampflehm errichtet wurden. Der Lehmbau hatte auch in unseren Breitengraden eine gewisse Tradition (von Cointereaux 1793 bis zum Weimarer Bauhaus 1947) und gewinnt im 21. Jahrhundert unter ökologischen Gesichtspunkten eine neue Bedeutung.
