Abstract:	Die Unterscheidung zwischen NT- und HT-Verzinkung am fertigen Produkt ist bei HV-Schrauben der Festigkeitsklasse 10.9 und höher von großem Interesse. Die Zn-Schichtausbildung auf verschiedenen, in der Schraubenindustrie üblichen Substratwerkstoffen in Abhängigkeit von der Verzinkungstemperatur beim Feuerverzinken ist untersucht worden. Eine eindeutige Trennung der oben genannten Zustände ist sowohl am Schliffbild als auch mit Hilfe der EDX-Analyse möglich. Die Mikrohärte läßt eine solch eindeutige Trennung aufgrund eines großen Einflusses von Eigenspannung nicht zu.
