Title:	Tragstrukturen aus Glas am Beispiel einer Ganzglastonne - Schalenkonstruktion ohne tragende Stahlunterkonstruktion am Maximilianmuseum in Augsburg
Abstract:	Für die Innenhofüberdachung des Maximilianmuseums in Augsburg sollte ein möglichst leichtes und transparentes Tragwerk aus Glas realisiert werden. Die Ingenieure entschieden sich für eine einsinnig gekrümmte Schalenkonstruktion als Kreiszylindertonne, die aus annähernd quadratischen Glasscheiben zusammengesetzt ist. Die Scheiben werden durch ein Seilnetz und entsprechende Knotenelemente gegeneinander vorgespannt. Die Glasscheiben müssen dadurch als volltragendes Konstruktionselement herangezogen werden.
