Abstract:	Unsachgemäß ausgeführte Abdichtungen sind immer wieder Ursache für Schäden im Baubereich. Der folgende Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über Lastfälle aus Wasserwirkungen, bautechnische Maßnahmen und Abdichtungssysteme. Auf Unterschiede zwischen DIN 18195 (Aug. 1983) und den Entwurf von September 1998 wird eingegangen. Ergänzt werden die Ausführungen durch Vorschläge zur konstruktiven Ausführung von Abdichtungen bei Kellerwänden und Bodenplatten.
