Abstract:	Mit dem Erscheinen des neuen CIDECT-Handbuchs "Knotenverbindungen aus runden und rechteckigen Hohlprofilen unter schwingender Beanspruchung" im Sommer 2000 wird erstmals ein umfassender international anerkannter und weltweit verbreiteter Leitfaden zur Bemessung von geschweißten Hohlprofilverbindungen unter Ermüdungsbelastung zur Verfügung stehen. Gleichzeitig wird daran gearbeitet, dieses Regelwerk sowohl als Richtlinie des International Institute of Welding (IIW) als auch als ISO-Norm einzuführen. Im folgenden Beitrag wird dieses Handbuch vorgestellt und auf die dort beschriebenen Bemessungsverfahren auf Basis der Spannungskonzentrationsfaktoren (SCF) näher eingegangen. Ein Beispiel verdeutlicht, wie dieses Verfahren angewendet wird.
