Abstract:	Die Verkehrsuntersuchungen und Verkehrszählungen zeigten die Notwendigkeit einer Mainbrücke an dieser Stelle. Ein Stabbogen erwies sich als wirtschaftlichste und überzeugendste Lösung. Ungewöhnlich ist die Ausfachung mittels eines Fachwerks aus dünnen Diagonalen. Die Fahrbahnkonstruktion ist ein Trägerrost in Verbund mit der Fahrbahnmitte. Bauherr ist der Freistaat Bayern; verantwortlich das Straßenbauamt Aschaffenburg.
