Abstract:	Nach zwanzig Jahren aktiver Lehr- und Forschungstätigkeit als Inhaber des Lehrstuhls für Stahlbau an der Universität Kaiserslautern hat sich Prof. Dr.-Ing. H. Bode in diesem Sommer aus gesundheitlichen Gründen aus Lehre und Forschung zurückziehen müssen. Als ehemaliger Mitarbeiter von Prof. Dr.-Ing. K. Roik, Ruhr-Universität Bochum, brachte Prof. Bode bei seiner Berufung im November 1980 den Stahlverbundbau, der von da an der Schwerpunkt seiner Forschungsarbeiten wurde, nach Kaiserslautern. Dieser Aufsatz soll einen kurzen Abriß und zugleich einen Überblick über abgeschlossene und laufende Forschungsarbeiten geben.
