This includes increasing the participation of young engineers within the Association and facilitating international networking for them, as well as recruiting new IABSE members. The objectives of the YEP are to: Actively support and develop the objectives of IABSE, by focusing on issues relevant to young engineers. This colloquium offers young engineers the opportunity to present interesting projects from university, research or construction practice to an audience of fellow engineers from the civil engineering sector. It provides attendees with an overview of current research topics as well as challenging construction projects and is an excellent platform to share experiences among young and old.
