Abstract:	Aus Verkehrssicherheitsgründen wird bei Brücken in Deutschland, die von Autos befahren werden, im Winter Tausalz gestreut. Damit die Tausalze nicht in den Beton eindringen und dort Korrosion an der Bewehrung auslösen können, werden die Brücken an der Oberseite abgedichtet. Im vorliegenden Fall wird von der Instandsetzung der Praterwehrbrücke in München berichtet, bei der die Brückenabdichtung nach Jahren der Nutzung noch weitestgehend funktionstüchtig war, chloridbelastetes Wasser jedoch seitlich über gerissene Betonaufkantungen auf die Auflagerbank und von dort über eine eingelegte Polystyroleinlage an die Brückenuntersicht gelangte und großflächig Lochfraßkorrosion auslöste.
