Abstract:	Seit Januar 2003 liegt der Weißdruck der neuen DIN 1054 vor. Eine der wesentlichen Neuerungen ist die Einführung des Teilsicherheitskonzepts. Der Beitrag beschreibt zunächst in allgemeiner Form, dann anhand von zwei vollständig durchgerechneten Beispielen, wie zukünftig die Berechnung von Baugrubenwänden durchgeführt wird. Ergänzend wird gezeigt, wie auf vereinfachte Weise eine Vorbemessung der Einbindetiefe durchgeführt werden kann, bis geeignete EDV-Programme dies durch Iteration überflüssig machen.
