Abstract:	Bisher sind Wärmedämmplatten aus extrudiertem Polystyrol-Hartschaum und aus Schaumglas für den Anwendungsfall "Perimeterdämmung" vom Institut für Bautechnik zugelassen. Daß diese Stoffe hierfür geeignet sind, erscheint auf Grund deren geschlossenzelliger Struktur verständlich. Daß ein Dämmstoff aus nicht geschlossenzelligem Material, wie Mineralfaserplatten, auch für die Perimeterdämmung Verwendung finden soll, wird vielleicht von manchen skeptisch beurteilt. Die folgenden Darlegungen über das Feuchteverhalten von Mineralfaserplatten und dem daraus abzuleitenden Wärmeschutz soll zur Bestätigung dieser Anwendungsmöglichkeit dienen.
